Team Plan role types

Team Plan role types

When you add team members to your Team Plan, there are several roles they can have. Roles determine what users can see and do within the ScreenPal desktop apps, as well as ScreenPal hosting.

The following roles are available when you are using a ScreenPal Team Plan:

Team Owner / Super Admin
There can only be one Team Owner of a ScreenPal team plan. The Team Owner manages all ScreenPal content, analytics, team users, and settings. Team Owners can add Team Admins and Billing Contacts, they can see team plan billing and usage information, and can cancel or upgrade the ScreenPal Team Plan.

Team Admin
There can be more than one Team Admin for a ScreenPal team plan. Team Admins can add new users and other Team Admins to the plan. They can manage ScreenPal content, analytics, and plan information, see the team's plan usage, and see organization information. They cannot upgrade or downgrade the current ScreenPal plan, or cancel the plan.

Billing Contact
Billing Contacts can view billing, usage, and plan information.  They can update or cancel the ScreenPal Team Plan and update credit card information.
Billing Contacts cannot view the company profile or change team recorder and hosting settings.

Team Member
A user who has been added to your Team Plan and has access to the ScreenPal tools and features, except those that are limited to Team Owners, Admins, and Billing Contacts.

Notes
Note: If you have coworkers who are using ScreenPal and have limits on the number of quizzes they can create, for example, this means they have not been added to your Team Plan.  Often, people will hear about ScreenPal, go to screenpal.com, sign up for a free account, and then be unable to access certain features.  This is because they have not been added to their organization's Team Plan by a Team Owner or Team Admin.

Add users to your team, rather than using feature access pages, so you can view their content, share it, collaborate on ScreenPal projects, and see how they are using the ScreenPal tools.  Individuals who use the Screenshot tool, Screen Recorder, and Video Editor via a team access page will not be able to upload their video to ScreenPal hosting and use all of the hosting features.

If a user already has a free ScreenPal account and you add them to your team, all of the content they created as a free user is imported into their team plan account.
