What happens if my Team Plan lapses?

What happens if my Team Plan lapses?

What happens when you are a member of a K-12 Team Plan that lapses?

When you are a member of a Team Plan whose Team Administrator has identified it as a K-12 plan, your content will be frozen when your plan lapses. You will see this message when you log into your ScreenPal hosting account:

If your Team Owner does not renew your plan, you will not be able to access your content; it will be permanently deleted 5.5 months after date on which your plan expires.  ScreenPal is required to purge this content to stay compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA),  the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), and iKeepSafe.

To keep your content, email your Team Owner or Team Administrator and ask them to either renew your Team Plan or revoke your access to your Team Plan so you can regain ownership of your content.

What happens if my Team Plan lapses and I am not a member of a K-12 team?

When your Team Administrator cancels a Team Plan for an organization that does not identify as K-12, you can keep the content you uploaded to ScreenPal.  Just download any images or videos from your ScreenPal hosting account that you would like to keep.

Any call-to-action buttons, annotation links, video player customization, and quizzes will be removed when your Team Plan expires.  You will also lose access to premium features within the ScreenPal desktop app.

If you would like to keep these features, you will need to register for a Solo Plan, or reach out to your Team Plan Administrator.
