When you are running low on disk space and you attempt to edit a ScreenPal project or create a new project, you will see one of these dialogs displayed in the app.
The first warning is displayed when you have less than 1 GB of free space available.
In this case, you have several options:
- Click Return to the Project Manager to free up space by deleting some of your old projects.
- Click Continue Anyway to proceed with editing your project.
- Note: If you choose to proceed with editing and continue to use disk space, you will have to free up space later or your ScreenPal project files may become corrupted and unusable.
- Minimize the ScreenPal application, delete unused files from your computer, and return to ScreenPal.
Remember to empty your Recycle Bin on Windows or your Trash folder on Mac after deleting unused files. Disk space is not actually made available until you complete this step.
When you have less than 100 MB of free space available, the following message is displayed.
In this case you will be not be able to proceed with creating or editing any ScreenPal projects until you free up disk space. Continuing to create or edit projects when you are low on disk space may cause your files to become corrupted.
