Use Google Slides in a story

Use Google Slides in a story

Previously, you could connect to your Google Drive account to the ScreenPal desktop application and then import Google Slides for use in a Story project.  Due to a new Google Drive limitation, users can no longer access Google Slides from within ScreenPal.

You can still use a Google Slides presentation as a story, however, by first exporting the slides into a PDF document on your device. To do this, follow the steps below.

1. Open a Google Slides presentation in your browser.

2. Click File > Download and select PDF Document.

3. Open the ScreenPal Project Manager.
4. Click Storyboard in the upper right corner.

5. On the next screen, select Script or Storyboard.

6. Here, click Start from a PDF.

7. Select the PDF that you just downloaded from Google Slides.
The PDF is imported, with each slide as a separate story section.
