There are several ways you can import existing presentations from Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote for Mac and iOS, and Google Slides to transform into Stories using our storyboard view.
Google Slides
Follow the steps below to import a presentation from Google Slides to your storyboard.
1. First, click the Story button at the top of the Project Manager.
2. Click the Start with Storyboard option.
3. Click Start from a Document.
4. Click Connect and Choose from Google Drive. If you are already logged in to Google, this button will simply say Choose from Google Drive.
5. If this is your first time connecting your Google account, click Launch web browser on the Add Google Drive Account dialog and follow the prompts to connect your account. When you are finished, a message is displayed, stating that you have successfully given access to Google.
6. Click Choose from google Drive. The Choose a Google Slides presentation dialog opens.
7. Navigate to the folder on your drive that contains the Google Slides presentation you want to import.
8. Select the presentation and then click OK.
Result: The Google Slides presentation is displayed in storyboard format. Each slide is displayed in a separate section and each section is given three seconds of video duration by default. If you add narration or a webcam recording, this time adjusts to accommodate your content.
Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote for iOS
Before you can import a Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, you must save it to your computer as a PDF. Once you have done this, follow the steps below to import the PDF as a Story.
1. Click the Story button at the top of the Project Manager.
2. Click the Start with Storyboard option.
3. Click Start from a Document.
4. Click Choose from My Files. File Explorer opens.
5. Navigate to and select the PDF you created from your PowerPoint or Keynote presentation. Select it and then click OK.
Result: The PDF is displayed in storyboard format. Each page of the PDF is displayed in a separate Story section and each section is given three seconds of video duration by default. If you add narration or a webcam recording, this time adjusts to accommodate your content.
