Configure the ScreenPal AI Tools for your Team

As a Team Owner or Team Admin, you can enable or turn off ScreenPal AI for all members of your team. If you choose to turn ScreenPal AI on, you can configure several options for how users on your team can use AI.

1. Log into your ScreenPal account as a Team Owner or Team Administrator.
2. In the menu on the left, click Settings.
3. Under Team Settings, click AI Tools.

The ScreenPal Team Settings menu with an arrow pointing to the AI Tools option.

4. To enable ScreenPal AI for your team, in the AI Access section, select the checkbox for Allow users to access AI features.  Members of your team will then be able to use ScreenPal AI to generate a title, summary, chapters, and captions for their videos.

5. If you turned ScreenPal AI on for your team, choose one of the following options:
  1. To allow your team members to decide when to apply ScreenPal AI to videos, select Users can decide when to use AI on content.
  2. To automatically apply AI to all videos uploaded to ScreenPal by your team, select Users will automatically have AI applied to newly uploaded content.
6. To automatically generate audio descriptions using ScreenPal AI, select the checkbox next to Automatically generate Audio Descriptions with AI
Note: If you clear this checkbox, your users can still manually generate audio descriptions for their own uploads.

7. To enable automatic language translations on video watch pages for your audience, select Enable auto-translations on watch pages for viewers.  This means your viewers can visit a video watch page and ScreenPal will translate the video's captions based on the viewer's default browser language.

8. To automatically apply text-to-speech narration to all new uploads, select Enable auto-translations/TTS for new Uploads

9. Select the default language for the text-to-speech narration and then click Add Text-to-Speech to select the default voice.
For more information, see our Enable automatic translations and text-to-speech article.

10. In the AI Settings area, to prevent ScreenPal AI from changing the original title for video uploads, select Prevent AI from renaming video titles.

11. Allow team users to override this selection for their own content by selecting Allow team members to override the above setting.

12. When you're finished, click Save Changes.
