YouTube says upload is unauthorized
If you are unable to upload to YouTube because you see the message "YouTube says upload is unauthorized", use the following steps to reconnect your YouTube account to the ScreenPal desktop app.
- Click Cancel on the error message window.
- Click the Share icon (top-right of Video Editor):
- Select the Account option:
- In the Select Account window that pops up, click the Trash icon:
- Click Continue to Log In:
Note: If this window does not appear, click the Share icon again to reopen it. - When prompted via the subsequent pop-up, click Launch web browser:
- When the web browser opens, select the desired YouTube account (this may require you log in), then click Allow to confirm.
