Find your Consumer Key and Shared Secret

ScreenPal integrates with many learning management systems via the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard. You can use the ScreenPal LTI Plugin to access our tools and share content within an LMS.  The LTI app assumes you are hosting your content on ScreenPal.   With the LTI app all users of ScreenPal hosting can:
  1. Use Single Sign On (SSO) to sign into their ScreenPal account
  2. Launch the Creator tools
  3. Embed a video, image, or quiz

Attention: If you use SAML for authentication on your Team Plan, you will need to follow the instructions below to add the Key and Secret to your LTI app.  This is required for your users to properly authenticate using the LTI app and gain access to the Premium tools offered with your Team Plan.

Team Plans have additional features associated with them.  Adding the Key and Secret will enable these additional features in your LTI app:
  1. Add a Video Channel
  2. Add a Video Channel Screen Recorder button (for feedback, coaching, student video assignments, etc.)

Team Plan Admins can find their account's Consumer Key and Shared Secret in Settings. 
 
1. Log in as an Account Admin or Owner, and click Settings in the menu on the left.
2. From Settings, click Integrations. 



3. Click the Add Integration button at the top of the page. When you click this button, additional fields are displayed.



4. For Integration Name, enter a unique name for this integration. For example, enter ScreenPal LTI v1.1 for [LMS Name].
You can have multiple integrations of the same type, so the name for each one must be distinctive.

5. For Integration Type, select LTI v1.1 Plugin from the list.
The XML, Key, and Secret fields are displayed.



6. Click the Copy button next to Key and Secret to copy the values and paste them into your LTI app.
