Sound isn't working/recording on the Mobile App (iOS / iPhone / iPad / Android)

If the ScreenPal Screen Recorder is not capturing audio on your mobile device, check the following:

1. Make sure that your phone is not set to silent mode.
2. Ensure that the phone's ringer and media volume are turned up.
3. Turn off any connected Bluetooth devices, such as headphones or speakers, as they can interfere with audio capture.

Please note that you may not be able to record certain apps (such as Spotify, YouTube, and Netflix).  When you attempt to record them using the Screen Recorder, the audio may be blocked or your recording will show a black screen.

Apple iPhone/iPad:

Tap the microphone icon to turn your microphone on. This will capture your audio.

Alert
Please note: Apple restricts audio from being captured during FaceTime calls, as well as some other Apple-developed apps. (This is for privacy or copyright reasons.)

If you still fail to capture the audio when recording, restart your device and verify that your iOS is updated to the latest version.

Android:

By default, the ScreenPal Android app will capture your microphone. You can turn your microphone on and off by tapping the Record button in our app and using the Record Microphone slider.

If you still fail to capture the audio when recording, restart your Android device and verify that your operating system is updated to the latest version.
