Make sure that your phone is not set to silent mode and that you have sufficient volume to the speakers before you begin recording.

Apple iPhone/iPad:
When you launch the recorder, you can choose whether you would like to capture system audio or not.

Please note: Apple restricts audio from being captured during FaceTime calls, as well as some other Apple-developed apps. (This is for privacy and/or copyright reasons.)

To capture your microphone audio, you'll need to turn your microphone on. Tap to turn your microphone on.

Android:
By default, the Screencast-O-Matic Android app will capture your microphone. You can turn that on/off before you begin recording. You can also enable system audio, if you are on Android 10 or newer.

Please note: Some apps will not allow audio to be recorded due to privacy or copyright reasons.
