ScreenPal AI

ScreenPal AI

When you have a Solo Max Business plan, or are a member of a Team Business plan, you can use ScreenPal AI to generate content for your ScreenPal videos, including a title, video description, captions, and chapters.

Enable AI for Solo Max plans

As a Solo Max user, turn on the AI feature by logging into your ScreenPal account and going to your Settings.

From the menu on the left, click Content Hosting.  Under Hosting: AI, select the Enable AI features check box.

You can then choose whether to automatically apply AI to all the content you upload to ScreenPal, or to manually generate AI content to a video by clicking the ScreenPal AI button.

Enable AI for Team Business plans

As the Team Owner or Team Administrator of a Team Business Plan, you can enable the AI feature for your team members.

Just go to Settings > Content Hosting.  Under Hosting: AI, select the check box for Allow users to access AI features.

You can then decide whether you want to allow your team members to manually apply AI content to their videos, or automatically apply AI to all content newly uploaded to ScreenPal.

You can also choose to enable automatic translations on video watch pages for your audience by selecting the checkbox next to Enable auto-translations on watch pages for viewers.  When auto-translations is enabled and a member of your team runs our AI tool on a video, anyone who views the video from the watch page can select their preferred language from a list to translate the video.

Quick tips for improving AI captions

  1. When you record narration, speak loudly, clearly, and naturally
  2. If possible, use an external microphone, rather than your computer's built-in device
  3. Place the microphone within three feet of the person speaking
  4. Narrate your video in a quiet area without background noise or music
  5. Avoid overlapping dialog (multiple people speaking over one another within your recording)
