Recorder will not launch from my web browser

If you're having trouble launching the Screen Recorder desktop app from within your web browser, be sure to check the following:
  1. Are cookies blocked in your web browser, or via a browser extension? If yes, enable cookies, reboot your computer to clear your cache, then try again.
  2. Are you using a VPN? If yes, exit the web browser and turn off the VPN, then relaunch the web browser and try again.
  3. If you are using a firewall or anti-virus software, add the following exemptions:
    1. *.screenpal.com
    2. *.screencast-o-matic.com
    3. *.speech.googleapis.com
