Online Screen Recorder

Use ScreenPal's online Screen Recorder to capture high-quality videos for free.  You can record your screen, webcam, and voice and instantly save these recordings to your computer. 
You can use the online Screen Recorder with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox.

To open the Online Screen Recorder, log into your account at screenpal.com and follow these steps:

1. Click the Create button in the top right corner.
2. Click Record Video and then select the Online Recorder option.

3. A screen is displayed, asking you what you'd like to record. Select Camera, Screen, or Screen & Camera together. 



4. If you're recording your screen, choose what you'd like to share. You can select a specific browser tab, a window, or your entire screen.




After you click Share, a recording preview is displayed. 



 From here, you can:
  1. Click the Record button to begin recording.
  2. Mute and unmute your audio.
  3. Show and hide your camera.
  4. Display the recording tools.
  5. Cancel your recording and go back to your ScreenPal Library.

You can also click the arrow on the Camera button to expand the Camera Settings menu.


Here, you can view available cameras and choose the one you'd like to use. You can also click Web Cam Settings to open the Web Cam Settings window and change your camera orientation, select a virtual background, and choose the shape of your camera overlay.



4. When you're ready to begin recording, click the red Record button.
5. To stop recording, click the Pause button.
6. After you pause your recording, you can do one of the following:
  1. Resume recording by clicking Record again.
  2. Delete the recording and return to your ScreenPal Library by clicking the Trash icon.
  3. Upload the finished recording to your ScreenPal Hosting account by clicking Done.




When you click Done, your video opens on the Video Settings page within ScreenPal Hosting, enabling you to enter the title and summary, add captions, edit and share the video, and more.
