Configure Zoom to create recordings optimized for editing

If you want to import Zoom recordings to edit in the ScreenPal Video Editor, we recommend you configure Zoom to create recordings that are optimized for editing.

Zoom calls this option “Optimize the recording for 3rd party video editor” on their website and "Optimize for 3rd party video editor” in the app.

Where you go to update the setting depends on whether you use the Record to the Cloud or Record on this Computer option when initializing a recording in Zoom, but we recommend you update both.

Info
Changing this setting won't affect recordings you have already made and will only optimize future meeting recordings.
