Cancel a Team Plan

Cancel a Team Plan

Important Information

As a Team Owner, you can cancel your ScreenPal Team Plan at any time.  The cancellation will go into effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

When you cancel a Team Business Plan, any user who is a member of your team:
  1. Will see a message when they log into their ScreenPal account, stating that their plan is canceled and letting them know that they will have access to the plan through the date on which it expires.
  2. Can keep the content they uploaded to ScreenPal by downloading it.
  3. Will lose access to Team Plan features, such as call-to-action buttons, quiz questions, and ScreenPal AI.  They can keep these features by purchasing a Solo Max plan.
When you cancel a Team Education Plan, any user who is a member of your team:
  1. Will see a message when they log into their ScreenPal account, stating that their plan is set to expire on [date].
  2. Will not be able to keep the content they uploaded to their Team Education account.  ScreenPal is required to purge this content to stay in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), and iKeepSafe.  Users' content will be permanently deleted 5.5 months after the date on which your Team Plan expires.  To allow a team member to keep their content, you can revoke their access to your Team Plan, which will allow them to regain ownership of their content through their solo account.
  3. To prevent team-created ScreenPal content from being purged without revoking users, please contact ScreenPal Support to discuss options for downsizing your plan.
