ScreenPal integrates with many learning management systems via the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard. This article will help you with the setup and use of our LTI
version 1.1 app within the Schoology LMS. For more information about how to set up LTI version 1.3, see Set up ScreenPal with Canvas LMS using the LTI v1.3 app.
Please note that while we continue to support the use of LTI v1.1 with ScreenPal, we will no longer be developing ScreenPal feature updates for this version.
Use of our LTI app is compatible with all plans; Free, Deluxe, Premier, Max, and Team Plans.
Enable Team Plans with the Consumer Key and Shared Secret
1. Log into ScreenPal as a Team Owner or Team Administrator and go to Settings.
2. Click Integrations from the menu on the left.
3. Click the Add Integration button at the top of the page. When you click this button, additional fields are displayed.
4. For Integration Name, enter a unique name for this integration. For example, enter ScreenPal LTI v1.1.
You can have multiple integrations of the same type, so the name for each one must be distinctive.
5. For Integration Type, select LTI v1.1 Plugin from the list.
The XML, Key, and Secret fields are displayed.
Note: These values are unique to your Team account and should not be shared with anyone outside of your team.
6. Click the Copy button next to Key and Secret to copy the values. Save them in a safe place, as they will need to be pasted into your LTI app in a later step.
7. Click Save.
You can edit the integration at any time by clicking the Edit icon.

FAQ
When launching the ScreenPal team application, why am I unable to use the Video Editor?
Check your Canvas app settings (or ask your Canvas Administrator to check and configure) to make sure you have the consumer key and secret added correctly.
