When you use the ScreenPal Video Editor, you can add rich text overlays to your recordings.
1. Begin by clicking on the video timeline where you would like to add the text.
2. Click Tools > Overlay > Text.
This opens the Text menu and displays a text box.
4. Enter your text, and then click Style to change the font, font color and size, highlight color, text style, text alignment, and more.
5. When you click Font, a list of your current system fonts is displayed for selection.

Info: To add a custom font, install the font on your system and restart the ScreenPal desktop application. The font will then be displayed in this list.
For more details about how to import custom fonts on Windows, please see Microsoft's
Add a font support article.
6. Change the background color and shape of your text, and add a shadow or callout by clicking the Background tab.
7. When you are finished making your changes, click OK.
8. A yellow span is then displayed on the timeline, indicating the placement of your text overlay. You can edit the text at any time by clicking this overlay and clicking the yellow text icon.
